April showers bring May flowers. April also brings a round of new monthly favorites. Throughout the month of April, I discovered some new goodies and rediscovered pastime favorites. Go ahead and dive on in to find some new favorites for yourself!
Morphe 9A Always Golden Palette
Morphe has been a go-to brand for me for awhile. They have amazing brushes and high-quality makeup products that always leave me impressed. A few months ago, I discovered the 9A Always Golden palette on the Ulta website. The neutral colors drew me in. This Ulta exclusive palette is one that I use daily. It has the perfect warm shades to create an effortless, everyday eye look and all the shadows blend with ease. One of my favorite shades is “Taken.” It’s the perfect shade to smudge along the top lash line to give a soft, yet defined lash line. If the colors in the 9A palette aren’t your favorite, Morphe offers a handful of 9 shade palettes exclusive to Ulta.
A New Day Gold Sunglasses
Everyone I talk to agrees with me when I say the new Target line “A New Day” is amazing. The clothing and accessories in the line are classy, chic, and affordable. Prior to our recent Miami trip, I wanted to get a new pair of sunglasses so I purchased this pair of gold-rimmed sunglasses from the brand for only $15. They may be inexpensive, but they don’t look like it. They look adorable with any outfit and give off a touch of 90s flair. Bonus: I don’t get a sunglasses tan when I wear these in the sun because the frames are so slim. If you’re on the hunt for an affordable pair of stylish sunglasses, make a trip to Target.
The Body Shop Tea Tree Daily Imperfection Solution
Like any other girl, I fall victim to the occasional zit. Over the month of April, I’ve been able to attack any blemish with The Body Shop Tea Tree Daily Imperfection Solution. Tea tree oil has been proven to be effective for reducing redness, irritations, and blemishes. When I use this solution, I wake up with less redness and any pesky blemishes are have been significantly minimized. This product is my jam and you need to get your hands on this if you also fall victim to annoying pimples.
Colourpop Super Shock Cheek in Wisp
I am a Colourpop fan and I have been for a number of years. All the lippies, shadows, and brushes always impress me and this Super Shock Cheek in Wisp doesn’t fall short of amazing. The formula is incredible — if you’ve ever used the super shock shadows or cheeks, you know what I mean. The product feels almost like a cream, but it is a finely milled powder that looks gorgeous on the skin. And this color…Y’ALL. IT’S SO BEAUTIFUL. This highlighter looks absolutely stunning on tan skin, so this highlight has been my go-to since I got a nice tan on our Miami trip. I am going to purchase more of these, especially since they are only $6 each.
On to the month of May! What was your favorite product during April?
