There are many mysteries in life. Why do we have deja-vu? How is “Kids Bop” still making music? But most importantly, why do brussels sprouts have such a bad reputation? I mean, they are freaking delicious people. Yes, they are mini cabbages and smell a little strange, but they taste remarkable. So as an ode to one of my veggies of choice, here is a delicious recipe for Spicy Brussels Sprouts with Feta. Feel free to change it up and make it your own. Whatever you do, give brussels sprouts a try. They deserve a second chance.
Ingredients:
Step 1:
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees fahrenheit.
Step 2:
Cut the brussels sprouts in half and toss onto a cookie sheet. Allow for some room between each half to ensure the brussels sprouts roast evenly.
Step 3:
Drizzle olive oil on top of the cut brussels sprouts.
Step 4:
Mince the garlic clove and sprinkle on top of the brussels sprouts, along with the paprika and cayenne pepper.
Step 5:
Roast the brussels sprouts in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until they are roasted to your liking.
Step 6:
Sprinkle with feta cheese and serve!
