I’ll be honest with you — I used to not be on the green smoothie train. It seemed like a fad that everyone was soon to get over. But making healthy green smoothies as a pick-me-up or nutrient-packed meal option has been around for quite awhile and doesn’t seem to be going anywhere. Green smoothies are a great, easy way to pack in a ton of veggies and fruits into your diet with very little effort. Just sip away while sitting at your desk at work or after a early morning workout. Before you know it, you’ve covered your needed fruits and veggies for the day.
Although I love experimenting with different additions to my green smoothies, this Healthy Apple-Strawberry Green Smoothie is my go-to. It’s absolutely delicious, packed with minerals and vitamins, and includes 5 servings of fruits and veggies. Five a day is easily covered with this healthy apple-strawberry green smoothie.
