Everyone knows that accessories make the outfit. I haven’t always been the biggest accessories person but as I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized how much of an integral part of an outfit they can be. And as I’ve gotten older, I’ve found out what my must-have accessory is. For me, that is none other than my watch. I need to have a watch on. It’s the last thing I put on every morning before heading off to work. It’s like my mind isn’t ready for the day until I throw on my watch. It is definitely my go-to accessory and for good reason. It polishes any look and is essential for keeping me on-time. Yes, I look at my watch to check the time instead of reaching for my phone — a strange concept for most young millennials. But I don’t want just any watch. I want a watch that is classic and timeless, yet unique. That’s why JORD watches just so happen to be my favorite watch brand.
I was introduced to JORD watches a few years ago and you can debatably say it’s the watch brand that started my conversion to an accessories person. I saw a stunning JORD wooden watch with a white face and fell in love. I mean, what’s not to love?! JORD Watches is a company based on creating artfully crafted timepieces made from real, raw materials. The beauty of these handmade pieces is unreal. You can tell how much time, effort and craftsmanship went into making each watch. And I love the styles. The one I have here is the Hyde Series Stacked Sandalwood & Olive with Ivory watch and it is just like the one I saw years ago that made me fall in love with JORD watches. I love the contrast of the dark sandalwood and the bright ivory face. I also love it because it’s perfect for both men and women. It’s the perfect size face and band width for me and it just so happens to look great on Greer, too. (I don’t think I’ll be sharing this watch with him — it’s all mine!)
