My Motivating Workout Playlist

on

Some people love working out, others don’t. I would put myself in the middle of those two groups. I love the way I feel after a workout and I always feel good about myself when I get a good workout in, but I hate the process of going to the gym and the torture that is cardio. For those of you who love cardio, share your secrets in the comments section. We all need your insight. Since a workout can be a little tedious for me, I need a good mood and a kick-ass, motivating playlist to get me through. I’ve created a workout playlist that I can honestly say makes my workout fly by. I’m totally good with it flying by. All of the songs are super motivating, have a great beat, and are sing-along worthy. I usually find myself lip-syncing Demi Lovato’s “Tell Me You Love Me” on the treadmill to get my mind off the misery of running. Since my workout playlist is super effective for pushing me forward in my workout, I figured it would be something you all might be interested in as well.

I should make a disclaimer that although all the music on the playlist is super catchy and pop-y, it is very different from what I normally listen to. My daily mixtapes include indie bands like The Head and The Heart, Dr. Dog, and Langhorne Slim, classics like Biggie and Salt N Pepa, and the calming tunes of The Allman Brothers Band and James Taylor. If you’re interested in some of my other music favorites and playlists, let me know in the comments below. But that’s enough reading — it’s time to get to your workout. Enjoy the 45-minute Oak & James Workout Playlist below!
