Let’s start off with first impressions and packaging. I am going to be honest, I don’t have a big opinion on the packaging. It was interesting enough to catch my eye on the shelf, but it might not be for some people. It’s a pretty standard store-brand beauty product label. But the things about the packaging that I love are two things — the size and the pump. You get 4 ounces in this baby, and I love that. Most of the time, you get 1 ounce and that’s it so I love 4 ounces. And you just can’t beat a pump — it’s more sanitary, locks shut, and is convenient. It definitely beats sticking your fingers into a moisturizer pot and spreading germs. Ew…germs. As for first impressions, I was blown away by the price. Take a seat because you might just be blown away too. Are you ready?…This face cream is only $7. I know. It’s crazy. I will take a facial moisturizer any day for $7.
The price is all good and well, but it’s not worth the $7 if it breaks me out or doesn’t do a good job at moisturizing my skin. Well let me tell you, the Walgreens Antioxidant Facial Moisturizer is well worth the small price tag. Heck, I would pay triple that price for this heavenly moisturizer. With the vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, and rosehip oil, my skin freaking loves this stuff. (Reminder that my skin is combo/oily and prone to breakouts.) I apply it day and night and it makes my skin super soft and smooth, yet it doesn’t make me oily. In fact, I get less oily throughout the day and part of that is due to this cream. Hyaluronic acid is also wonderful for keeping your skin looking plump and youthful. Yes, this moisturizer will help with anti-aging…for only $7.
This moisturizer has changed the game for me and I cannot recommend it enough. This is absolutely perfect for those of you with oily skin or combination skin. It’s also the perfect facial moisturizer for those of you who are on a budget. Find this incredible moisturizer at your local Walgreens today.
